WHAT IS GENESYS?

Genesys, unlike Alternate Formats, is a new tournament system to play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG by using the same rules as standard Duels, with a few simple changes to Deck construction.

Here are the changes that will allow you to enjoy Genesys:
1. No Link or Pendulum Monsters are allowed, meaning no Extra Monster Zones or Pendulum Zones will be needed.
2. There will be no Forbidden & Limited List, allowing your Duelists to use any card released.
3. Deck construction uses a point system! Some (powerful) cards have a point cost when
building a Deck; most cards cost no points. Each Duelist will have the same number of points to build their Deck. This brings the power ceiling on Decks down for everyone and focuses Duels on battle action.
4. The point cap for this event is 100 points.
